i just don't know what this new season has done to me... the warm weather has revolutionized my desire for food and among other things (new clothes, dresses, shoes.... true... and jewelry?? strange)
anyway, my husband showed me somethin' cool last week and we've had it at least 2 times since:
port au melon
i am now sure this is a french thing, as i've seen on the menu on a couple of restos here.
step 1: cut melon in half, spoon out seeds.
step 2: open port
sorry ladies, he's taken! haha
step 3: pour port into melon
step 4: eat and enjoy (spoon out melon with a bit of port)...
perfect for sunday brunch... enjoy your friday!
